A five-minute walk from the town center of Losinj, you will find the beach of Punta. The beach Punta offers deck chairs on the concrete or on natural stone slabs, ladders rostfrei and access to the sea for the disabled. The beach Punta offers showers for visitors, a rescue service and a small kiosk where you can buy drinks and snacks, or you can rent bikes and beach chairs and umbrellas. Over the road, there are the toilets. The beach is very wide and even in high season there is no problem for an accommodation. The sea is deep enough and therefore not really suitable for people who have little familiarity, except a small creek with gravel. Part of the sea of the beach is fenced specifically for swimmers and therefore protected from boats and jet skis. The beach at Punta Veli, although it is mainly the hotel beach, is closed to the public so they can be used by all visitors. In 2003, the beach Punta has received the ""Blue Flag"", a special feature for the beaches clean and well maintained.
