The start of the iXS Downhill Cup season 2023 will once again take place on the island of Lošinj, in beautiful Veli Lošinj. A picturesque place located directly on the coast. With 300 days of sunshine a year, the pleasant climate offers cycling opportunities all year round. The medieval town with 1,000 inhabitants and many beautiful gardens and villas offers a unique atmosphere as the venue for this race.

The course has already been tested as part of the 2018 World Cup. The race was excellently received by the riders due to the beautiful location, fantastic weather and enthusiastic fan base. However, it should be noted that the course is one of the rockiest. After a short initial section, there are several very challenging jumps, then a decisive, extremely rocky and partly narrow section that extends to the outskirts of Veli Lošinj.
